Jacques Chomilier is one of the founding members of the French association MASF (Mouvement de l’Adoption Sans Frontières), an adoptive parent organisation that provides support, education, and activities, facilitates and participates in adoption-related research, and provides policy advice to the French government. He also represents MASF on the National Adoption Council, one of whose missions is to advise the French authorities on child protection and adoption policy. An adoptive parent, Jacques Chomilier, has facilitated collaborations between French adoption researchers and the adoption community over many years.  He is a co-author of a research paper on adoption micro-aggressions and chapters of handbooks for French adoptive parents.  He has attended every ICAR meeting since 2013.  Professionally, he had a scientific career, as a research director from the CNRS at Sorbonne University, in the field of biophysics, data processing and statistics.
