How to Get to FPCEUP

🚇 By Metro

Estimated travel time: 35–45 min
€0.60 for the Andante card + €2.25 for Z3 travel title.

  1. Take the Violet Line (Line E):
    • Direction of Estádio do Dragão station.
    • Exit at Trindade station.

2. Change to the Yellow Line (Line D):

    • Direction of Hospital de São João station.

    • Exit at Pólo Universitário.

FPCEUP is located 170 meters (2 min walking) from Pólo Universitário station.

🚖 By Taxi, Uber or Bolt

Estimated travel time: 15–20 min, depending on traffic.

  • Taxis are available 24/7 at the airport (approx. €25).

  • Uber and Bolt operate throughout Porto city (approx. €12 to €20).

🚌 By STCP Bus

Estimated travel time: 45–55 min.
€2.50 per journey, if you don’t have the Andante Card or it has no travel titles.

  • Line 604 (Airport – Hospital de São João; Via Crestins)
    • From 06:10 am to 9:00 pm

    • Exit at the last station: Hospital de São João.

    • FPCEUP is about a 10 min walk from there.
 

From: Lisbon’s Humberto Delgado International Airport (approx. 315 km south of Porto)

✈︎ By Aeroplane

Estimated travel time: 1.5 – 2 hours.
€20 to €90, depending on how soon you book the flight.

  • Take a domestic flight from Lisbon (LIS) to Porto (OPO) (approx. 1 hour).
    • From Porto Airport, follow the instructions above to reach FPCEUP by Metro, Taxi, Uber/Bolt or Bus.

Estimated travel time: 3.5 – 4 hours.
€5 to €25, depending on how soon you buy the train ticket (https://www.cp.pt/en/)

  1. Take the Metro Red Line to Oriente station.
  2. From Oriente station, take an Alfa Pendular or Intercidades train to Porto Campanhã.
  3. From Porto Campanhã, take the Metro (Lines A, B, C, E or F) to Trindade station.
    1. Change to the Yellow Line (Line D) towards Hospital de São João.
    2. Exit at Pólo Universitário and walk approximately 2 min to FPCEUP.

🚌 By Bus

Estimated travel time: 3.5 – 4 hours.
€10 to €25 per journey.

Rede Expressos (Lisboa Sete Rios Station) https://rede-expressos.pt/en

  • From the airport to either of the bus stations, you can take a Taxi or Uber/Bolt (approx. 10 min).
  • Exit at the last station: Terminal Intermodal de Campanhã (TIC).
    • From there, follow the instructions above to reach FPCEUP by Metro, Taxi, Uber/Bolt or bus.
